Old is Kool Blog has been fired up and ready for use

You just can not have too many blogs, "Can you?".

Randy, a long time friend of mine, was the one who suggested that I use Blogger. He has a few different blogs that he maintains related his different interests (passions). Each of his blogs has a different feel to them. Now that I've just added my 4th blog I get why it is good to have a blog or two.

The first blog I seriously maintained (loyally and lovingly) was the Caring Bridge journal that was started for me when I was in ICU after my motorcycle crash (April 18th, 2008). I installed a few blogs on my websites before and put together one for my band (Ragged Edge) but I wasn't really impressed by them. It didn't take long before I became completely addicted to blogging. The Caring Bridge site was shut down once I felt like it was time to let others in need us the disk space. I put up a new blog and shuffled it around here and there until it pretty much ended up as Team Rock Ranch Blog. The story kind of ended a few days after we completed the 2010 STP but it is long from over. The 2011 STP will be coming soon!

A big benefit from having multiple blogs is being able to write based on your mood. Here's how this works for me:
Team Rock Ranch - Pretty much always a good mood because it is about bikes
The Goal Farm - Pretty much always a good mood because it is about goals and progress
We Work For Idiots - Never much in the same mood. It is based on the news of the day
Old Is Kool Blog - Pretty much when I'm feeling like my old self

That's it for the first post on Old Is Kool
