I am not really expecting to see any major changes. I am expecting to hear a lot of bickering and blaming, finger-pointing and complaining.
I will be pleasantly surprised if I'm completely wrong about this. It would be a thrill to see both parties coming to agreement and coming up with solutions for change. It is a big contradiction to expect accomplishments from the same people I call idiots. To be fair I believe a lot of them are very bright but they make very bad decisions based on stupid reasons, poll results, or seeking reelection. The last election should have sent a clear message to the politicians that we want action not the same old crap we get after every campaign.
You might be very happy that your party won or you might be very disappointed that your party lost. But if you are happy that your candidate won or disappointed that your candidate lost you are a glimmer of hope for a brighter future. The idiots will only continue their same behavior if we allow them to. It is time we stopped enabling them. We were bombarded by negative ads and we need to respond as a reasonable and united front. Together we can make a difference on how our country is run. It might not be easy but anything worth doing right hardly ever is.
