Nov 3rd is finally here!

What a relief that the negative ads are no longer playing on the radio, TV, or left on our phone!

The first post yesterday was put together in a hurry and lack a lot of deal of what "We work for idiots" is all about. Let me start by stating this blog was not born out of dissatisfaction with my boss or a "Take this job and shove it" attitude. "We work for idiots" was born out of the negative ads the candidates supported.

Here's how it worked:

• I saw an ad against the first candidate and thought to myself, only an idiot would do that. I can not vote for an idiot.
• I was an ad against the second candidate and thought to myself, only an idiot would do that. I can not vote or an idiot.

Well, one of the two candidates were elected yesterday so that means I'm working for an idiot. I work for state government and when a law is created by legislation I am compelled to implement the changes. January will be another "Oh crap, here we go again!" period. I've been around this for over a quarter of a century so I'm used to it even if I don't like it.

The positive note from yesterday was hearing that a lot of other folks feel both parties are responsible for the mess we are in and it is time we start taking action in our own interests. Visit The Goal Farm if you want to see the related goal of this blog.
